SUMMER MISSIONS
*Are you interested in Summer Missions? Here are some Important Details!*
1) Are you a 16 year old to college-aged student interested in serving as an EBA Summer Missionary this summer? Please read the following information carefully and pray about whether or not this opportunity is for you! Be sure to note the required schedule availability before you apply. You may complete the Summer Missions Application before the application deadline on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the following link: https://forms.gle/GrdGrDeDQWqoCxbF8
It is going to be an amazing summer of missions and ministry in Etowah County!
2) Are you the leader of a ministry or church that would like to request the service of our 2026 Summer Missionary Team this summer? Please complete the Church/Ministry Request Form below, and read the details carefully: https://forms.gle/AVS1RZXNGGSvoZYM7. The deadline to request a team is Wednesday, May 6, 2026, and we fill our summer calendar on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. You will also see below a link to the theme and daily overview of our 2026 EBA VBS Curriculum: “SOAKED! Plunging into the Source of Life” that we supply this summer, completely free of charge to any church that would like to use it. Our missionaries are well trained in this curriculum and able to lead in every rotation of “SOAKED!” to include Bible Study, Recreation, Craft, Snack and Worship.

1. SAVE THE DATE: March 1 is when the application to request our summer missions team will be posted on the website. Be sure to set yourself a reminder, as we fill in our calendar on a first come, first served basis.
2. This is the same date the application is posted for students to apply so we don’t yet know how large our team will be, but we try to accommodate as many church requests as possible.
3. Our theme this year is “SOAKED: Plunging into the Source of Life.” It is based solely on the life of Jesus, and each lesson involves water! The daily lessons are included below to see the direction of our week. We build a 6 week curriculum, but we can easily adjust to a 1, 2, 3 or 4 or 5 day event if needed for your church. All curriculum will be made available to participating churches by mid March.
4. We will provide the Bible curriculum totally FREE, a lesson-related craft for each day, a snack suggestion for each lesson (it is fine if your church provides a meal or something different instead), a theme song for the week with a daily song to learn for which our missionaries can teach motions, and we encourage churches to consider doing a daily “Money Wars Mission Offering” between girls and guys to donate toward our Summer Missions program so that we can continue to fund this program for students in years to come.
5. As you think about decor, think Water Themes! We suggest waterfalls, waterparks, water tubes, snorkeling equipment, submarine or ocean area, kiddy pools with floats, beach items, fountains, water backdrops, etc. Anything water related is great! A great block party idea is to rent an inflatable water slide or have Water Wars with water guns! It all fits the theme of SOAKED and draws the community!
