2. Give to sbdr.org
Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, and affiliate teams from Alabama, are on the ground in Texas providing relief. Giving monetary donations to sbrd.org/texas helps to ensure that volunteers have the tools they need at the time they need it. It provides for not only relief services but also chaplaincy and other needs to those suffering from storm damage.

As we all know, Hurricane Harvey is still leaving it’s devastating effects across Texas and now Louisiana. We have received many phone calls and messages about how Etowah Baptists are helping. Please know that we are a part of an extensive Southern Baptist Disaster Relief network and are waiting and ready for the call that it’s our time to go serve. As we receive more information, we will be updating our website and social media. Please see this official statement from the Alabama State Board of Missions.
